Pear Daiquiri

Ingredients

1 medium , ripe Asian pear
3 ounces light rum (6 tablespoons)
3 ounces pear eau de vie (6 tablespoons)
2 teaspoons lemon juice

Preparation

Cut 2 thin wedges from pear and set aside for garnish. Peel, core and chop rest of pear and puree in blender or food processor. You should have about 1/2 cup pear puree.

In a shaker, combine 2 ice cubes, pear puree, rum, eau de vie and lemon juice. Shake well. Strain into 2 margarita or martini glasses. Garnish each with pear wedge.
