Coconut Crunch

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 pkgs. sliced almonds
2 cartons whipping cream
2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup soft butter
2 pkgs. vanilla pudding (sm.)
1/4 cup sugar

Preparation

Mix thoroughly: flour, coconut, brown sugar, butter and almonds. Spread on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until slightly brown. Turn often so it doesn't burn.

Mix pudding as directed on package. Boil until extra thick. Set aside and let cool.

Beat whipping cream until stiff and add sugar. Layer in 9x13 dish: 3/4 of the crunch, all of pudding, all of whipped cream, and top with remaining crunch. Very rich, delicious.
