Growing Mung Bean Sprouts

Preparation

1. Place about 1 T of seeds in quart jar or similar container. Sprouted seeds increase many times in volume.

2. Cover the opening of the jar with cheesecloth, secure with a rubber band.

3. Add enough water to completely cover seeds, set aside and soak overnight at room temperature.

4. Next day, pour off the excess water through the mesh. Add fresh water to thoroughly rinse seeds and drain.

5. Rinse and drain sprouts twice a day. In between, set them in a moderately warm area (60-70F). In just a few days (3-5), they should be good to go!

NOTES : Anyway, according to my Kitchen Crop - Mung Bean packages, the instructions are different that what you are doing....
