Basic Roast Recipe

Ingredients
PROTEIN: (2 cups)
Legumes
CARBOHYDRATES: (1 cup)
Raw or mashed potato
Cold cereal (Special K, All-Bran, etc.)
NUTS: (½ cup)
1/2 cup cooked oatmeal
1/2 cup uncooked cornmeal
2 tablespoons soy flour
1 egg
1 1/2 cups)
Nonfat milk
Vegetable juice
Broth
FAT: (2 tablespoons)
SEASONING: (¼ cup)
Onion, chopped
SEASONING: (1 teaspoon)
Chicken seasoning
Washington broth
Savorex, Vegex
SEASONING: (¼ teaspoon)
Preparation

NOTE: 2 tablespoons soy milk powder plus 1 tablespoon oil plus 3 tablespoons water, or 2 egg whites can be used as substitutes for one egg.
