Tuna Without Mayo

Ingredients

6 ounces cans tuna packed in water
Juice of two limes
3 scallions, minced
1/2 cup minced cilantro leaves
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Hot pepper sauce to taste
4 leaves romaine lettuce, washed and dried
2 ripe tomatoes, cored and sliced

Preparation

Drain the tuna and mash it with the lime juice, scallions, cilantro, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce.

With the tuna mixture, lettuce, and tomatoes, make sandwiches! Serve immediately.

About the recipe he says, "This low-fat alternative to the traditional tuna sanwhich has lots more going for it: a soft flout tortilla and the sparkling flavors of lime and cilantro." I love tuna sandwiches and eat them all the time, so this is a great way to change up the routine!
