Strawberry-Raspberry Sauce

Ingredients

2 cups of sliced strawberries or raspberries
or
1 pound frozen berries
2 tablespoons of Chambord Liqueur or Marsala
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon sugar (or to taste)
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Preparation

Place ingredients in food processor or blender and blend till smooth. Add additional liqueur (or water if preferred) if mixture is too thick.

Sieve through a mesh sieve to remove seeds. Serve alongside cake.
