Pork & Spring Onions With Spicy Soybean Sauce

I have something to confess. I have never seen this dish made. I didn’t even plan this dish. This recipe was born of desperation. I was starving and lazy – at least too lazy to run to a restaurant to eat. I had some left over spring onions (which are just more bulbous scallions), some pork butt and this can of dou ban sauce. Fortunately, this dish ended up being tasty enough for me to share. Hooray for quick, improvised meals that work!
