Everyday Dog Biscuits

Ingredients

2 teaspoons dry yeast
2 tablespoons dry parsley
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
3 tablespoons molasses
1 egg

Preparation

Dissolve yeast and water in a bowl

After it foams add in parsley, broth, egg and molasss. Stir to combine.

Gradually add flour, stirring to combine until a ball forms.

Continue kneading until dough is smooth, about 5 minutes.

Shape dough into disc and roll out to 1/4" thickness

Using dog bone cutters, cut out shapes and place on lined baking sheet.

Gather scraps and re-roll

Bake biscuits at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Rotate pan and flip biscuits over.

Bake another 15 minutes.

When biscuits are done, place on a baking sheet and put in oven to crisp overnight.

I adapted this recipe from a dog biscuit recipe I found on the internet. It called for honey but I've been using molasses instead. My dogs absolutely love them! These biscuits are super easy to make and most of the ingredients will be found in your pantry.
