Channa Chaat is a simple dish which hardly takes anytime but tastes great. Infact the beauty is that it adds more colors to your platter. Full of goodness of nutrition and flavours ranging from sweet, sour and spicy you can't have enough of this particular Chaat.

  • 1 cup Boiled Black Channa
  • 1/4 cup chopped Onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped Tomato
  • 1/4 cup chopped Cucumber
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Green Chutney
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 4 tablespoon Yoghurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Carom seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 chopped Green chilli
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic powder or paste
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dry Mango powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Channa Masala

Instructions

Step 1

Add sugar into yoghurt and mix it well and keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan and add green chilles, carom seeds and cumin seeds.

After 30 secs add boiled channa and all the dry masalas like cumin powder, ginger garlic powder, mango powder and salt and cook for 1 minute.

Now add 1/2 tbsp of sugar in it along with some channa water/ normal water and let it cook and dry.

At the end add channa masala and give it a good mix.

Now spread the channa on a plate and top it up with chopped onions. cucumber and tomato.

Add some sweet yoghurt and chutney on the top and garnish it with green coriander
