The Perfect Hard Boiled Egg

Place your eggs carefully in a pot and add cold water to cover them by about 1/2 inch.

Put the lid on your pot and put on stove on medium-high heat until they come to a full boil.

Turn off the heat, and leave the pan as is (lid on and on the burner) for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes has passed, rinse the eggs in the pot with cold water until the pot is cool to the touch.

Let the eggs sit for 5 minutes in cold water.

Peel immediately.
