About
Dulse is a red algae, sea vegetable rich in vitamins and minerals. It is often found in the form of dried flakes and added to recipes for an "ocean flavor." It's found in Ireland, Iceland, and Canada. Dulse is generally found in natural food stores or Asian markets.
In Iceland dulse is eaten with just butter. It can also be pan-fried into chips, used in soups, sandwiches, bread, and pizza dough. It can be a substitute for monosodium glutamate.
