Oyster Mushrooms Peas Curry Recipe | vegan fresh
Ingredients
350 Gram Oyster Mushrooms
2 Onions of medium size, finely chopped into small pieces
02 large Tomatoes, pureed
02 Tablespoon Yogurt or curd
01 Tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
01 Tablespoon Coriander Powder/ Malli Podi
01 Tablespoon cumin powder/ Jeera Podi
01 Medium Size Potato, finely chopped into medium pieces
20 Gram Green Peas
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 Teaspoon Red Chili Powder
1 Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
Salt as per taste
Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
Preparation

HOW TO COOK?

Firstly, heat up a container and pour water into it.

Boil water and dip the oyster mushrooms into it.

Keep the oyster mushrooms for about 4 minutes and drain water.

The oyster mushrooms will get soft. Remove any germ/dirt retained inside.

Leave the mushrooms in the open air to get dried.

Now marinate them with the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt for 10 minutes

Heat up oil in a container and add tomatoes, onions, green peas and potatoes to it.

Stir well till the vegetables become soft.

Now add cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili, yogurt/tomato puree.

Thereafter, add marinated oyster mushrooms and mix well till the mixtures get an even texture.

To get a thick gravy consistency, you may add a half cup of water.

Cook the mixture for about 5 minutes and turn the gas off.

Garnish it with fresh coriander leaves and slit green chilies.

Serve it hot with chappatis, fried rice, rice or naan.
