French Honey Bread

Ingredients

1 1/8 cups water

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt ¾ tsp - revised

1 teaspoon sugar

3 tablespoons vital wheat gluten optional

2 1/2 teaspoons yeast 2 tsp yeast-revised

Put all ingredients into bread machine according to your directions.

OR, for a smaller loaf:3/4 cup water2 teaspoons honey2 teaspoons olive oil2/3 teaspoon salt2/3 teaspoon sugar2 cups bread flour1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Add all ingredients to bread machine pan, in order suggested by your manufacture. Select appropriate cycle, and start.

NOTES :This recipe makes a 2 lb (large) loaf.
