Apple Crisp Recipe

Ingredients
4 Sunshine Shredded Wheat Biscuits, crumbled
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
Preparation

Peel and slice apples. Combine in buttered 8" baking dish with half of the crumbled biscuits. In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, until apples are tender and top is lightly browned. If desired, sprinkle with additional shredded wheat. Makes 9 servings.
