Healthy Fruit Muffins

Ingredients

2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup mashed, ripe banana
1 egg
1 cup chopped dates
1 apple, pared, cored and chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Preparation

Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. In another bowl mix buttermilk, oil, banana and egg. Add dates, nuts and apply to dry ingredients. Mix liquids into dry ingredients until blended.
