Ingredients
cup
Corn syrup
- light
cup
Butter
or one
stick
2 tablespoons
Peppermint
extract
teaspoon
Salt
1 pound Confectionery
sugar
Food coloring
Preparation
1
Mix
all of the ingredients except for the food
coloring.
Knead
the candy for 10 minutes.
Color
while
kneading
the candy by adding a few drops of food
coloring
at a time to get the desired
color.
refrigerate
for 2 hours.

Roll
out to desired thickness and
cut
into desired shapes. (I use 1 inch circles or hearts. (do not make the shapes too large.)
