Crumble Torte

Ingredients

cup Walnuts, chopped
1 pkt Dates, chopped in small pieces
3 Eggs, separated
6 tablespoons Coarse bread crumbs
1 teaspoon (heaping) baking powder
cup Sugar

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together with egg yolks. Beat egg whites stiffly; fold into mixture. Pour into buttered 9x9 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven - for 30 minutes. Serve with whipped cream over ice cream. This is an old, old recipe.
