Heath Bar Ice Cream

Ingredients

2 tablespoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup salt
8 lg. frozen, crushed Heath bars

Preparation

Place Heath bars in freezer in original wrappers until frozen.

Mix up ice cream mixture. Place in ice cream freezer and begin to churn. While ice cream is freezing, remove bars from freezer and place inside a bag. Crush bars with hammer until totally crumbled. Set aside until churn stops. Remove canister from freezer and fold in crumbled bars last.

Note: I usually make ahead and place in refrigerator freezer in large covered bowl so it stays frozen longer. If you can't find Heath bars, substitute a bag of Bits of Brickle and several Hershey bars.
