Pan Perdu

Ingredients

poor knights of windor
6 centimeters slc good quality dayold white bread 1 thick
2 eggs size 3
2 tablespoons sweet sherry
1 tablespoon oil
60 grams butter
1 tablespoon caster sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Preparation

Remove the crusts from the bread and cut each slice into three fingers.

Mix the eggs cream and sherry together.

Dip the bread in this mix in sugar mixed with cinnamon if wished.

Serve immediately with hot apricot jam sauce.
