Ingredients

1 1/2 cups honey 8 sticks cinnamon
2/3 cup water 2 whole cloves (I use 5 or 6)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 vanilla bean
1 bottle of vodka
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3 strips lemon peel

Preparation

Combine honey with water, vanillia, spices and lemon peels in a large saucepan. Bring to boiling, cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add vodka. Remove from heat. Serve hot or cold. I use 100 proof vodka is the best, but cheap vodka is still good.
