Bread Dressing Stuffed Chicken

Ingredients

1 5 pound chicken
3 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 teaspoon sage

Preparation

Rub the chicken with salt and pepper to taste and brush with melted butter.

Place the dressing into the cavity and under the breast skin.

Roast in the oven about 1 1/2 hour

Mix bread crumbs, seasonings, celery and onions together, moisten with melted butter.

For a 4-5 pounds fowl.

Variations: you can add yo yout taste nutmeats, pork sausage, bacon or mushroom.
