Gougeres Splendid

Ingredients
1 batch (2 cups) pate a choux (find recipe foodista)
1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
9 slices of procuitto ham, chopped and seperated
1/8 cup finely chopped parsley
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Place oven rack in center of oven

Mix ingredients together

Line a cookie sheet with a silpat (silicone sheets which prevent sticking)

Scoop dough into a disposable pastry bag

Place in 425 degree oven and allow to bake for 20 minutes

About
Classic Gougeres are made with grated cheese. For Gougeres Splendid we've added procuitto ham and parsley. These delicate litte puffs are packed with flavor. They are wonderful served with cocktails, and a splendid side to soups or salad. A large version of this puff can be filled with scrambled eggs for a delicious breakfast sandwich.
