Paneer Butter Masala Recipe

200 grams Paneer-
1 Onion- big
2 Tomato- big
2 tablespoons Cashewnuts-
Spice Powder-
1 teaspoon Coriander powder-
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder-
1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder-
1/2 teaspoon Kasuri methi-
3 tablespoons Cream-
2 tablespoons Butter-
1 tablespoon Oil
Oil for frying paneer cubes
Salt to taste

Fry panner in oil till light brown and put it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and keep it aside.You can also shallow fry it

Soak cashew nuts in boiling water for half an hour and grind it to a smooth paste. Keep aside

Blanch onions ( put it in boiling water for 5 minutes, remove and puree it )

Puree tomatoes and keep it aside

Heat butter + oil ,add cumin seeds, when they sizzle,add onion puree and saute till golden brown .

Add ginger garlic paste and saute for some more time.

Add cashew nut paste and saute for a few more minutes

Add tomato puree,all the spice powder, salt needed and cook on low flames till the raw smell goes.

Add fried paneer pieces and cook on low flames for a few more minutes till the gravy becomes slightly thick or semi solid. If it is too thick you can add water and adjust the consistency of the gravy

Stir in cream and remove from flame.

Serve it hot with pulav or roti or naan
.
