Rice & Beef Bacon Stir-Fry

Ingredients

2 cups Jasmine rice (long-grain)
Vegetable stock (canned or make your own)
2 tablespoons corn oil
1 red pepper, seeded and cut into bite-size or slices
3 beef bacon slices
1/2 onion, sliced

Preparation

Place rice in medium pot and pour in vegetable stock, cover to boil and leave it to simmer until rice is tender.

Heat oil into deep pan/ wok on medium fire. Add onion and fry for few minutes, then add both bacon and red pepper. Fry for 5-7 minutes until bacon turns brownish-red.

Stir in cooked rice and peas, cook and stir occasionally for another 3-5 minutes until peas are tender.

Add 1 tablespoon of Worchestershire sauce and serve.

Note: For more taste, season with salt and pepper or light soy sauce.
