Gilmore's Gin & Tonic

Ingredients

Pour 2 cups gin in a glass. Set aside

Peel, in 1 long curly piece - Lemon Peel, in 1 long curly piece - Lime

"Mash" pulp of Lime in a glass bowl. "Mash" pulp of Lemon in a glass bowl.

Put both of the long curly pieces of the lemon and lime in the gin bottle. Put all pulp & juice in Gin bottle. Shake to mix. Fill to 1/2" from top w/Gin you set aside.

Put in freezer for a minimum of 2 months. Mix with fresh tonic in frozen mug in proportions you like. Add ice.

Developed over time as a summer drink, along the Wading River in the Pinelands of Southern New Jersey.

A note about the Frozen Gin - It won't freeze; and the lemon floats to the top, while the Lime settles to the bottom.
