Upside Down Banana Walnut French Toast

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups melted butter
1/4 cup corn syrup
3 mediums bananas, sliced
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Spray 13 x 9" glass dish

Stir together brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, & walnuts until smooth. Gently stir in bananas

Spoon mixture into baking dish

Arrange layers of bread on top of banana mixture

Beat eggs, milk & vanilla with wire whisk until well blended

Pour over bread, cover tightly and refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight

Bake at 325 for 45 to 55 minutes
