About

This recipe will make about 30 biscuits.
A 'fairing' was originally something bought at a travelling fair. Over time it became the name for the biscuits sold at these venues, they were sometimes covered in icing or shaped in various ways but always spiced. This is a recipe captures that wonderfully spicy taste.
