Pae's Pound Cake

Ingredients

5 eggs, room temperature
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 sticks butter, room temperature
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Grease and flour a 10 inch bundt cake pan or two 9 inch cake pans.

Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time and beat until well blended.

Add vanilla extract.

Place all dry ingredients in a bowl and alternate with milk into egg mixture beginning and ending with the flour mixture.

For example, flour first, then milk, then flour again).

Bake at 325 for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
