Griffin's Best Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups butter
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
24 ounces chocolate chips
1 teaspoon salt
8 ounces Hershey bar (grated) [optional]
4 eggs
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice) [optional]
2 teaspoons vanilla
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cream the butter and both sugars.

Add eggs and vanilla;

Combine flour mixture to wet ingredients slowly.

Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts.

Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.

This is the best chocolate chip cookie recipe ever! We opt to leave the Hershey bar out, and include macadamia nuts as we aren't chocolate fanatics in this house. Enjoy!
