Speckled Swimming Crab

About

A species of swimming crab closely related to the common blue crab (members of the portunidae family).
They occur on the surf zone of ocean beaches from Massachussets (USA) to Southern Brazil.

Physical Description

Very similar to the common blue crab in general appearence. Carapace more than twice as wide as long.

Colors: Light brown or light maroon in color covered with small, white to yellow spots.
