Arlet Apple

Arlet is roundish, small to medium sized apple. The fruit has a yellow basic color and strongly bright red opaque color. It is a new variety with a firm flesh which is excellent for fresh eating and for use in salads. It also exhibits a relatively long shelf life when compared with Golden Delicious apples, and takes on a somewhat waxy or greasy appearance after extended storage.
