Pristipomoides filamentosus (also known as crimson snapper, crimson jobfish, Hawaiian pink snapper, and Opakapaka) is a species of snapper that lives throughout the tropical Pacific, and is especially known for being a food source for people in Hawaii. The skin is light brown, and mature fish usually weigh between 12 and 18 pounds
