Ooey Gooey Peanut Butter Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

December 4, 2015

My love for all things peanut butter and chocolate borders on a "slight" obsession.  I can't get enough of the combination.  Honestly, though, what's not to love?  The rich, slightly salty peanut butter paired with the robust deep flavor of chocolate is second to none.  My argument is simple, H.B. Reese invented the peanut butter cup in 1928 and has outlived many other candies.  Anything that survives past 50 years must be notably delicious right?  In short, chocolate and peanut butter have been a staple in my cupboard ever since I was able to purchase my own groceries.  So, naturally, when I saw this amazing recipe for chocolate peanut butter thumbprint cookies, you know I rushed home to bake up a batch ASAP.  Are they as delicious as they look? Yes! Are they as easy to bake like the recipe instructs? Yes! Now go prepare yourself a batch of these amazing cookies for the holiday season!
