Offering a gluten free snack means grabbing something off the shelf in the GF aisle. An easy to whip up cake recipe is going to save the day many times over. When first moving from the standard diet to a gluten free diet, snacks and baking can seem the most daunting. There are many premade GF items that are not very tasty and even most mixes leave a lot to be desired.
We wanted to share the best baking mix that is easy to find and reasonably priced in most supermarkets. This mix is sort of the equivalent of Bisquick baking mix. It is the basis for cookies, cakes, pancakes, waffles, scones, biscuits and more. Use it as a replacement for your family favorite recipes and exchange flour 1:1. The only recipe that didn't work very well in our kitchen, is the biscuit recipe. They fell flat and although tasted good, were sort of unappetizing to look at.
