On June 6th, BioEssential Botanicals voluntarily recalled their sprouted Chia powder sold in bulk, due to possibly Salmonella contamination. The recall has since been expanded to include an additional product not listed in the original recall. Please note the product names and sizes sold, then verify the code on the produce and UPC at the official Canadian Food Inspection Agency website, to see if you have a recalled product in your home.
