Thirsty Thursdays: Watermelon Margarita Slushie

May 15, 2014

Nothing is better poolside then an icy watermelon margarita.  Frozen cubes of watermelon are pureed with tequila, orange liqueur and lime juice.  If you prefer your margaritas with a little kick, feel free to add a half a jalapeno or chipotle to the blender.  This cocktail is great for a crowd so if you're planning a Memorial Day barbecue, watermelon margaritas should be on the menu.
