Today, in case you didn't know, is National French Bread Day. And while it may seem a bit odd for a style of bread to have an entire day of celebration, we certainly aren't complaining!
Especially when it's as tasty as the recipe below.
Ingredients:
2 cups warm water
1 tablespoon yeast
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
5 -5 1/2 cups bread flour
