Add another french toast recipe to your repertoire with this easy, maple syrup-dripping, custard-soaked recipe for french toast sticks from Just a Taste. Be sure to use day-old, thick-cut bread with sturdy crusts for maximum soaking. Don’t forget plenty of cinnamon sugar for that classic flavor.
Ingredients:
8 slices thick-cut Texas toast (See Kelly's Notes)
4 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
Unsalted butter, for cooking
Maple syrup, for serving
