Thirsty Thursday: Pumpkin Spice Martini

Capture the flavors of fall with this tasty pumpkin cocktail recipe. Ditch the pumpkin latte and opt for a delicious beverage made with rum, rye, spices and pumpkin puree!

Pumpkin Martini

Ingredients:
1 oz. Rittenhouse Rye
½ oz. Sailor Jerry Rum
2 oz. Pumpkin Puree Mix (recipe below)
1 oz. Vanilla Syrup
Garnish: Dash of Nutmeg

Directions:
Combine all ingredients in an ice filled cocktail shaker; shake well.  Strain into chilled martini glass and garnish.

Pumpkin Puree Mix

Ingredients:
4 ½ oz. Pureed Pumpkin
8 oz. Milk
2 oz. Cream
½ tsp. Nutmeg & Cinnamon
(makes enough for approximately seven cocktails)
 
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in blender.  Blend until smooth.
