Okay, you caught me. This recipe isn't Irish, it's actually Middle Eastern. But, the important thing is that this Spicy Broad Bean Dip recipe is green and will make a great appetizer at any St. Patrick's Day party. This dip has garlic, lemon, chili and cumin for a ton of flavor with a bit of a kick.
Spicy Broad Bean Dip
Ingredients:
- 500g bag frozen broad beans
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 lemon -- zest and juice
- 1 small green chili, chipped
- 1/4 cup coriander, chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 20ml olive oil
- paprika, for garnish

My boyfriend's Irish so I'm very well acquainted with Irish recipes. And it doesn't matter this one is not Irish, it looks delicious and I'll try it during a course I signed up for a month ago. :) To put it more precisely, my boyfriend gave me a special gift on this year's Valentine's Day - he booked a cooking class organized by Zac’s cooking school in our native Vancouver called - <a href="http://yourvancouverrealestate.ca/vancouver-life/2013/01/best-cooking-classes/">cooking classes for couples</a> so we're now collecting interesting recipes to come up with during that course and this one will definitely be part of our list. :)
