Gameday Snacks: Chocolate Coffee Toffee Party Mix

Chocolate coffee toffee party mix is a homemade snack that is absolutely addicting.  This snack is so simple, you'll wonder why you haven't made it before.  Chex cereal, pretzels, and pecans are mixed with chocolate and then coated in powdered sugar.  In addition, this recipe is sike with coffee for a boost of extra energy.  Whether you are watching football or basketball game, sport's fans are guaranteed to keep coming back for more.

Chocolate Coffee Toffee Party Mix

Ingredients:

1 cup bite-size pretzel twists
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup toffee bits
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules or crystals
1 teaspoon hot water
1/4 cup butter or margarine
 
Directions:
 
In large bowl, mix cereals, pretzels and pecans. Sprinkle toffee bits On top of the cereal mixture.
 
In small microwavable bowl, stir coffee granules and water until Coffee is dissolved. Add chocolate chips and butter. Microwave Uncovered on High 1 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until mixture Is smooth. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated. Pour into Gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag.
 
Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake gently until well coated. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.
 
Tip: Try using 2 cups of Honey Nut Chex® cereal in place of 2 cups of the Chocolate Chex® cereal.
