McDonald's Dollar Menu No Longer Includes Fries

March 11, 2012

The McDonald's Dollar Menu has been revamped to omit small French fries and small drinks in favor of ice cream cones and fresh-baked cookies, according to Reuters. These items will of course still be available for McDonald's patrons -- just not for $1.

McDonald's will also add a new category called the Extra Value Menu on March 26 that contains existing items like double cheeseburgers, 20-piece chicken McNuggets, small McFlurries and medium iced coffees, most priced between $1 and $2. "The choices have been available for quite some time, we're just making it easier for customers to find them and enjoy them," said Neil Golden, the chief marketing officer of McDonald's USA.
