The Jennifer Hawkins Diet

Jennifer Hawkins says she stays healthy by following a low-carb diet. The model generally keeps her carb intake to a minimum but when she has a a photo shoot coming up, she tries to avoid them altogether.

"They taste good, but carbs and my body don't work well together," Hawkins said, adding that she finds she is less hungry throughout the day when she eats more lean proteins and less carbohydrates.

When it comes to socializing, Hawkins says she needs to enlist the help of her friends to keep her on track.

"If I don't have a shoot the next day or coming up I'll be fine, but if I do I'll just have one cocktail and get my girlfriends to keep the bread basket away from me," she said.
