A McDonald's veal burger has been rolled out abroad as a part of the megacorporation's "Swiss Weeks" promotion. The sandwich will be called the McZurigo in Italy, McZurl in Germany and McZurich in France to accommodate for the languages spoken in each region.
No matter what you call it, the McDonald's veal burger contains a cutlet made of 100 percent Swiss veal, a hash brown patty, mushrooms, iceberg lettuce and caramelized onions on a wheat bun and finished with a spicy mushroom sauce. Would you think of McDonald's as a prime place for veal?
