New York City has a nifty little plan that will help get rid of pesky geese near the airport that can get sucked into engines and bring planes down. Rather than just killing them, city officials will take the geese and give them to area Pennsylvania food banks to feed the poor.
Geese were the cause of the January 2009 US Airways plane having to make the emergency landing in the Hudson river. Remember Scully?
Sounds like a nice solution, no?
