Last night officials announced the finally isolated the cause of the deadly e coli outbreak that started in Germany more than a month ago and has killed 18 people. Bean Sprouts.
Sounds like some German officials might owe Spanish cucumber farmers an apology.

The discovery must come as a huge relief since the Germans haven't been able to identify the cause since the outbreak began on May 2.

I never did like bean sprouts.

Glad to know the cause finally. But now, maybe I'll skip paying $4 a pop for bean sprouts :(

except they didn't...the beansprouts weren't the reason as per the latest news
