A nice gesture or kind of lame? You be the judge. After a campaign stop at Gino's East pizza, a Chicago institution famous for its deep-dish pizza, Mitt Romney, not wanting the uneaten slices to go to waste, sent the leftovers to Obama campaign headquarters.
On one hand, a slice of Gino's is a treat even if it's served off of a dirty hub cap. That deep-dish pie is the stuff of legend. So I can see how it was a nice gesture. But on the other hand, Romney's a rich dude and he probably could have busted out and sent over some fresh pizzas, no? I'm sure Gino's East would have appreciated the extra business too.
So what do you think? Mitt Romney sending leftover pizza to Obama campaign HQ: nice gesture or kind of lame?
