Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1/2 pound 32 lg. marshmallows
1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
1 bar 3-4 oz. German chocolate
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Combine butter, milk and sugar in a large, heavy pan. Place on medium heat; stir until sugar dissolves.

Bring mixture to a boil and cover. Boil 5 minutes and then turn off heat. Add marshmallows and stir until dissolved.

Add chocolates one at a time, stirring after each addition. Add vanilla and pecans and beat until glossy.

Pour into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. When candy is firm, cut into squares. Makes 5 pounds.
