Celebrity chef Todd English is being sued by his landlord at the NoLIta loft for $80,000 in alleged unpaid rent and services. English was questioned for several hours by lawyer David Katz during a deposition on Wednesday and does not remember much about his $9,000-per-month apartment on Broome Street.
"He said his people pay the bills. He doesn't even know who signed the lease," divulged Katz.
