It's time to learn a little more about your favorite treat -- ice cream! The below infographic from Wild Harvest gives us a little lesson on what makes ice cream so great.
The history of ice cream goes back to 400 BC. In the Persian Empire, they would serve snow topped with fruit juice. Nowadays, ice cream contains four main ingredients -- sugar, water, air and fats. The fats make up 6-12% and help give ice cream a soft texture while maintaining the air.
